Welcome to The Wizards’ Warehouse, where we discuss literature, worldview, and politics from a Christian perspective.
If you’ve made it this far down the page, you’re probably wondering who I am, what this place is, and why it’s worth your time. Well, just sit back, kick your feet up, relax, and let me explain.
I’m Karl Bickerstaff, a reclusive Scottish detective who totally isn’t a pseudonym and fake identity for someone else.. I enjoy reading, analyzing, and discussing what I’ve found with other people. I’ve competed in and coached policy debate, so I know a thing or two about rather obscure topic areas at least.
I really don’t have any other credentials. No Nobel prizes, no English degrees. But maybe that’s a good thing. My rather unusual background gives me an interesting perspective on ideas and events, I think. I mean, it’s not every day that you find a high-schooler who wants to–and probably could, if given the chance–discuss soteriology, classical music, and the history of Middle-earth in the same sentence. And be warned, I will try. I am also strongly for proper grammar and against the excessive use of exclamation points (seriously, guys, about one every month is plenty).
If you’re interested in reading my other stuff, head on over to the Blog page and check out my writing. If you like it, hit that Follow button, so you don’t miss any new posts. My schedule is pretty crazy right now, but I’ll try and post at least once a week. And I’m committed to producing quality content, so don’t worry about getting spammed with posts. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me via the Contact page.
Thanks for dropping by, and have a great day.
